Privacy Policy

BatchSKU ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at batchsku.com and the BatchSKU application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create an account we collect your email address, name, and an encrypted password (or OAuth token if you sign in with a third-party provider). We also store a profile record that links you to one or more workspaces.

b. Product Photos & Listing Data

You upload product photos to BatchSKU so our AI can generate eBay listings. We store these images in cloud storage and retain the AI-generated listing data (titles, descriptions, item specifics, suggested prices) in our database.

c. eBay Account Data

When you connect an eBay account we receive an OAuth access token and refresh token from eBay. We also store your eBay username and related seller information so we can publish listings on your behalf.

d. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, subscription status, and basic invoice data so we can manage your plan and credit balance.

e. Usage & Analytics

We collect standard web analytics (page views, feature usage, error logs) to improve the Service. This may include your IP address, browser type, and device information.

f. Referral Data

If you join through a referral link, our referral partner Rewardful may set a cookie to attribute your signup to the referring affiliate. We share limited data with Rewardful (email and subscription status) to track commissions.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service — process your photos with AI, generate listings, publish them to eBay, and manage your subscription.
  • Communicate with you — send transactional emails (workspace invites, billing receipts, account alerts).
  • Improve the product — analyze aggregate usage data to fix bugs and build better features.
  • Process payments — manage your subscription, credits, and invoices through Stripe.
  • Referral tracking — attribute signups to affiliates and calculate commissions through Rewardful.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following providers only to the extent needed to operate the Service:

  • Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • eBay — listing creation and management via the eBay API.
  • Moonshot AI (Kimi) — image analysis and listing generation.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Rewardful — affiliate referral tracking.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

4. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (session tokens), user preferences, and referral attribution. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the Service may not work properly without them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and listing history for as long as your account is active. Product images associated with completed listings are kept so you can re-list or reference past items. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., billing records).

6. Your Rights

You may:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us.
  • Export your listing data at any time from the dashboard.
  • Disconnect your eBay account, which revokes our access to your eBay data.
  • Cancel your subscription and delete your account.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security on our database, encrypted OAuth tokens, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children's Privacy

BatchSKU is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
